Julius to face ANC panel

If Julius Malema thought all of his childish banter, rude reprimands and foolish cooments would get him somewhere then, man was he wrong!

When one thinks of the ANC's Youth league President, one thinks of a buffoon who makes mindless utterances and today those comments will be dealt with.

Malema is to come before an ANC internal committee, where his past transgressions will be judged. The panel will decide if Julius' remark where damaging to the reputation of the ANC or not.

We can't say for sure what the punishment will be if he is found guilty but we certainly hope he is dealt with appropriately.

Bieber Fever

If you haven't caught the 'Bieber fever' like the rest of us, then where have you been?

Not only is he cute and famous, he is also super talented and his latest single has reached the top of the charts! Justin Bieber is the next 'big' thing!

This was further proven when he arrived in Auckland Australia and needed a police escort to get him out of the airport! Justin was mobbed by fans and photographers as he made his way out of the building!

Fortunately for Justin this is nothing new as he is use to crazy teenage girls and took it all in his stride!

Bafana Bafana draw

For those of us who are keeping track, the Soccer World Cup is only 50 days away!!

In preparation for this massive event, our boys- Bafana Bafana have been training really hard and testing themselves in matches against other International teams.

Currently Bafana are in Germany and yesterday played a match against North Korea. The outcome was a draw and quite a boring game to be honest but as they say- practice makes perfect!

Although there were only a few spectators our guys did their best and expect a fuller stadium at their next friendly.

Bafana Bafana is due to face China on 28th April.

We will be cheering for our boys and know they will make us proud!

South Park gone too far?

We all know the television comedy, South Park... if you are old enough to watch it, you will know that the subject matter at times is controversial to say the least.

The shows writers have made fun of, Tom Cruise, Angelina Jolie and Oprah just too name a few but now they have based a show around 'Muslims' and mohammed in particular.

The episode depicts Tom Cruise demanding that the South Park residents produce the prophet Mohammed. When the prohet appears he is dressed in a bear suit.

Critics have warned that the shows producers have gone too far this time and may find themselves in the same situation as Theo Van Gogh- a Dutch director who was murdered by Muslim extremists after making a movie about Muslim women.

We certainly hope this situation is resolved quickly and peacefully!

Cameron Douglas sentenced

One would think that when you have it all, celebrity family, loads of money and a more than comfortable lifestyle you would appreciate it... but nobody is safe from making mistakes, as is the case with Cameron Douglas, Actor Michael Douglas' son.

Last year Cameron was charged and arrested from selling and dealing in drugs. His famous father stood by his son and told the media that he has just done something without thinking.

Cameron Douglas did cooperate with the police while he was being investigated and this meant that the Judge could give him a lesser sentence. He was facing up to 10 years imprisonment.

Yesterday Douglas Jr. was sentenced to 5 years in prison.

We sincerely hope he has learned his lesson and serves his time and never reoffends.

J. Lo is back

We have good news for all of our Jennifer Lopez fans...

After meeting and marrying her dream man, 'Jenny from the block' decided to have a baby- she had twins, and kind of went into hibernation! We haven't seen J. Lo in a movie in ages, not to mention her obvious lack of presence on the music scene.

But now she is back and has just released her latest film: 'The back up plan', a story about a women who has it all but hasn't found the right man to settle down and start a family with, so she has a baby on her own...

It seems that J.Lo is in the prime of her career and living life to the full, let's hope this movie is as good as all her previous ones!

Bullock takes another bash

As if Sandra Bullock has not had enough post-Oscar drama, she has been dealt another blow.

The Razzie Awards who 'honoured' Sandy with one of its trophies, this year for 'Worst actress' has asked that she return her prize.

Not because they have retracted their nomination but because they claim she walked away with the 'real' Razzie and not the fake one they usually give away to 'winners'.

Of course nobody really cares what the Razzie's think but we do believe that this public request was uncalled for, especially at a time like this when Sandy is dealing with so much other, real and important drama.

Good luck Sandy, we are behind you 100%

Harry Potter not just good at magic tricks

Daniel Radcliff is mostly known for his multiple roles as Harry Potter in the Harry Potter movies...these roles have not only made him every pre-teen girls dream guy but also a sort-after actor.

Radcliff made his theatre acting debut in the disturbing stage classic 'Equus'. He was praised for his performance and now he has been picked to star in the famous show 'How to succeed in business without really trying'.

'How to succeed in business without really trying' is a piece of theatre that was honoured with a Tony award in 1961 and the main role as been filled by acting greats such as; Matthew Broderick.

We are sure Daniel will live up to his star status and wow us with is performance!

Die Antwoord

If you haven't heard of these guys then quick, get on YouTube now!

Die Antwoord are a local South African group who have made it big overseas. The duo consisting of two main artists, are a rip off of 'white trash'. They sport mullets, wear outdated clothing and generally rock a pretty weird image.

But their music, if you get it, is awesome. Interscope records who have massive artists like 50 cent on their books have just signed Die Antwoord and other fans of this outstandingly talented twosome include Katie Perry and Fred Durst.

Recently Die Antwoord has been invited to participate in the Coachella festival in California. Other Artists performing are Muse and the Gorillaz- this is a big deal.

We are so proud of these guys and wish them nothing but success!

Jim Carrey not so funny

Funny man Jim Carrey has found himself in hot water after he alleged last week that golfing star Tiger Wood's wife, Elin Nordegren must have known about her husband's numerous affairs.

He passed this comment on Twitter.

Scores of Nordegren supporters lambasted Carrey's comment saying it was untrue and unfair.

Carrey has subsequently apologised for the remark saying he did not mean to offend anyone.

Tiger Wood's was exposed last year for having numerous extra-marital affairs with strippers to night club hostesses. He had to take a break from golf and recently made his comeback at the Masters, this past weekend- where he placed fourth.

Bombshell apologizes

The first mistress of Jesse James (Sandra Bullock's husband) has made a TV appearance on Australia's Chanel 7 News apologizing for any pain she caused Sandra Bullock.

The model Michelle 'Bombshell' McGee, said she knew how Sandy must be feeling and would never have had a relationship with James if she had known he was still married.

James allegedly told McGee he was separated from the Oscar winning actress.

McGee went on to say that she also felt 'lied to' by James and that their relationship had ended mutually when he went overseas.

We are still on Sandra's side and can't believe her husband would have an affair!

Hang in there Sandy, we're behind you 100%

Michael Jackson death a conspiracy

Just when you think the Michael Jackson saga has finally been put to rest another spanner is thrown in the works!

La Toya Jackson- Michael Jackson's younger sister has made a statement claiming that her brother's death was a conspiracy and Conrad Murray his Doctor- who has been charged with his death and is now in court, was just the 'guy' taking the fall for others. She claims that Murray was instructed to make sure Jackson overdosed and the motive was, of course, money.

At this point La Toya's statements are pure speculation. She has also gone on to say that people knew Michael was worth more dead than alive!

Nothing has been proven in a court of law yet and we eagerly await the outcome.

Brad and Jen's secret liaisons

As with all gossip this is pure heresy...

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's former bodyguard claims to have arranged secret rendezvous' between Brad and his former wife- Jennifer Aniston!

Is this a case of sour grapes or could it be true? We know the only reason the pair split up in the first place was because Aniston didn't want children but can this really be true given the lack of photographic evidence- Paparazzi are usually all over celebrities like a bad rash!

Bill (the snitch bodyguard) claims that the two have met in secret at least five times since last year but how likely is it that nobody would see them together, we question the validity of this piece of scandal and wait for more developments and evidence!

Facebook drama

We have all heard the horror stories about facebook identity theft and we warn all of our users to protect their profiles and monitor who they are friends with and what information they give out about themselves.

It has recently emerged that an American boy is sueing his mother for discrediting him over the social networking site. The boy claims that his mother has slandered him and he is in no way happy about this. The Mom- Denise New however says it is her right to monitor what her son is doing on the site.

A conclusion on who is in the right or wrong in this situation has not yet been decided but we eagerly await the outcome.

Julius Malema Silenced

Finally Julius Malema has been told to stop provoking society by singing 'shoot the boer' and is not allowed to make comments about the murder of Eugene Terr Blanche.

Following this past weekend's events and the death of the AWB leader, there has been a huge outcry from Afrikaaners and AWB supporters saying that Malema is responsible for encouraging 'farm murders' by singing the struggle song- Ayesab' Amagwala.

Gwede Mantashe and Jacob Zuma are confirmed to have met with Malema last night and told him not to make inflammatory statements. They further promised that the public would be able to see that Malema has been sternly spoken to.

We look forward to not hearing from Malema again!

Eugene Terr Blanche

The death of Terr Blanche came as a huge shock this past weekend. Irrespective of whether you agree with his political beliefs or not, nobody expected he would ever be murdered.

The men accused of this horrific crime are as young as 15 and 21 and will be appearing in Court today in Ventersdorp. While they claim to have killed him in self defence, Terr Blanche was murdered in his bed.

AWB supporters are calling for revenge and have stated that 'while they abide by the law others like Julius Malema are free to say whatever they like.'

This is a particularly bad thing to happen in South Africa right now- with the Soccer World Cup looming.

We just hope justice is served.
