Mariah Carey is going to have to replace the R ‘n B with singing lullabies for now! Her and hubby Nick Cannon say the bundle of job is due next Spring.

The media have had Mariah (already 40) and Nick (30) on ‘baby watch' since they got married after a whirlwind romance two years ago. After one sad miscarriage, they have finally got the good news to tel! Besides a baby on the way, Mariah also has a new album: her second holiday CD, 'Merry Christmas II You' for you to look out for, for the December holidays - so keep your eyes pealed!

Avatar - The Sequels!

If you were lucky enough to catch the Avatar this year and loved it, you're in for a surprise: James Cameron is planning to release TWO sequels!

With Pandora being so far and all, we're in for a bit of wait. Cameron is only going to start writing he scrips next year, but it's a nice thought to have that we have something to look forward to! When asked to comment, Cameron said:"I'm looking forward to returning to Pandora, a world where our imaginations can run wild." So are we Mr. Cameron, so are we...

Willow - Hollywoods new baby!

She's only 9 years old, but Willow Smith - Will Smith's daughter (who would have guessed?)-is ready to start her career in the music business!

If you haven't already heard some of her stuff, look up her hits like 'Whip My Hair' on Youtube - it already has more than 7 million views! This little girl must have something. Then again, the whole family 'has something'; her brother Jaden starred in The Karate Kid movie just this year!

This funky new star has her debut single being released on iTunes on Tuesday - so don't forget to check it out!

U2 - Bigger, better and 360 degrees!

As part of their 360 degree world tour, U2 will be rocking our very own soccer stadia in Jozi and Cape Town! Put in down in your diaries that either Sunday 13 Feb 2011(for all you Jo'burgers) or Friday the 18th of Feb 2011 (for you in the Cape) are the dates to book.

The last time U2 were in SA was 1998 so make sure you don't miss them this time! Tickets in both cities will start at R161.00 but this time, it doesn't matter where you stand, because with the new 360 degree rotating stage designs and LED screens you'll be surrounded by your favourite band the entire time!

Lindsay Lohan to fire her mother?

Once again in rehab in Los Angeles, the doc's best advice to Lindsay is to fire her mom as her manager- and we couldn't agree more!

A lot of us have gone through tough times, and sometimes you just need you family's support to get through it. Having her mother work for her, and being the main earner for her family at only 24 years old, it's really no wonder Lindsay cracked under the pressure! Chin up Lindsay!

Beyonce: Babybump?

According to U.S Weekly Bootylicious Beyonce and hubby Jay-Z are expecting their first child - or are they?

This wouldn't be the first time the media have reported that Beyonce has a baby on the way, AND in Jan this year Beyonce told USA Today she wanted to take some time off "to just live life." As usual though, the reps for the two love birds aren't commenting on the latest report, so we'll have to wait and see what SHE says on the issue!Don't worry, as soon as we know - you'll know!

Jozi out of the Idols race!

And Boki Ntsime, Joburg's last idols contestant, has been voted off the Idols stage.

Well, we never thought it would happen and neither did the judges,who had their bets on Sindi Nene being eliminated this week. Boki didn't have his best show on Sunday though, so well done Sindi and hard luck Boki!

Elvis Blue, Lloyd Cele and Sindi Nene are the last one left for Sunday's spectacular show so get your fingers ready to do some voting!

Its All About 3D

Kristen Stewart: It WAS a scream!

About two weeks ago we reported that our Twilight leading lady, Kristen Stewart was invited to the Spike TV's Scream 2010 Awards. Well, the awards were on Saturday night and despite being late - she had been in Louisiana for about a day and a half rehearsing Breaking Dawn with Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner (what a lovely life!) - she managed to get onto the stage and accept the award for Best Fantasy Actress!

Breaking Dawn was then named Most Anticipated Movie (don't we know it!) so the pressure is on for Kirst.

The release date for Breaking Dawn is on the 18th November 2011 for the USA - hopefully that means it will be released here the same day too. Fingers crossed.

Harry Potter - going to trial?

Well, Harry Himself might not be, but author J.K Rowling is facing charges of coping the ideas of another authors work in the writing of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. "The Adventures of Willy the Wizard" is the book that Rowling apparently stole some of the her ideas from, but from what we've read, Willy The Wizard isn't a patch on Harry!

Rowling and Bloomsbury -her publishers- say this chap is just trying to get more publicity to sell copies of Willy The Wizard, and we think they might be right...

Locnville: The Singstar Takeover

Very soon you will be rocking Singstar to our very own Locnville twins Andrew and Brian Chaplin! Sony Computer Entertainment Europe made the announcement on Monday so the duo really do now have The Sun in their Pocket, especially since other featured artists on Singstar include Timbaland and the Black Eyed Peas!

These down to earth guys are really doing it, and we'll keep you up to date on what their plans are for the future. In the meantime, check out the Singstar store to get their platinum hit, Sun In My Pocket to get the party started.

Justin Bieber: This is for the ladies

It's something different, that for sure! Justin Bieber is launching a line of nail polish and according to nail care company OPI, the viby line is inspired by his biggest music hits so far.

Girls, you will be able to wear shades like One Less Lonely Glitter (lavender), Prized Possession Purple (grape) Give Me the First Dance (silver) and Me + Blue (dark blue). And these are just the first one to hit the shelves!

Unfortunately it's a bit of a wait, it is only due in stores at the beginning of next year so let's hope the wait it worth it!

Taylor Swift - saying sorry?

Now, all of us Taylor Swift fans know that in most of her songs she is either falling in love or heartbroken - now how the tables have turned!

On the third track ("Back to December") off her upcoming album Speak Now, it is the 20-year-old singer who is the one who needs to apologize! In an interview with E News Taylor said: "This is about a person who was incredible to me, just perfect to me in a relationship, and I was really careless with him...This is a song full of words I would say to him."

Charlize: Back on the dating scene

Our very own home-grow-Oscar-winning beauty Charlize Theron is said to be back on the dating scene after ending her nine year relationship with dreamy fellow actor Stuart Townsen in January 2010.

Many of us South Africans understand her choice this time in Eric Thal as, although the new man is an actor, he's also a farm owner from upstate New York! Apparently the two like escaping the Hollywood buzz every now and again by heading to the farm for some good ol' R'n R...

Before we all get too excited though, there is no word yet if co-star and alleged bf Robert Pattinson will attend but with The Twilight Saga: Eclipse up for six awards, we can only hope more cast members show up!

Sheesh, talk about a powerful family! Barack Obama is the American President...now his wife and First Lady of the USA, Michelle Obama has been named the most powerful woman, according to the Forbes' list of well, the World's Most Powerful Women.

Other celebs to stand out is Oprah Winfrey at number 3, the young Lady Gaga at number 7, Beyonce ranked in at number 9 and the loveable Ellen DeGeneres is at number 10.

They have all excelled at what they have chosen to do so a heart felt congratulations to every single one of you!

In a move from tradition where couples receive gifts on their wedding day, Russell Brand has announced he and his fiancé Katy Perry do not want gifts at their upcoming nuptials! Say what?

"Katy has a good job and I've got a good job, it seems indulgent to ask for more things, so we're going to do something more worthwhile and humane with any money given to us," he says. Whatever they receive will be donated to charity.

Just amazing! And here we were thinking most celebs are frivolous and bham! - they surprise you by being quite level headed! Good on you Russell and Katy!
