Set to show early next year, this new reality is going to be covering the 'fab' lives of three of former president Nelson Mandela's granddaughters Swati Dlamini, Zaziwe Dlamini-Manaway and Dorothy Adjoa Amuah.
Backed by what has been described as a "hot production team" made up of reality show Dr 90210 producer Rick Leed and SA director Graeme Swanepoel the team has emphasized that the show will not be about the Mandela family at all, but about the trio.
"They' re not into trash TV. They want something with dignity and this show will show authentic and modern South African women. The bond between them was immediately clear, too. So, they're not just sisters but friends." said producer Rick Leed
Adjoa Amuah said: "By no means are we representatives of the Mandela family, but our family is so intertwined that you will see some of them in it."

Crushanda: It's not the end!
It was a sad moment for many SA Idols fans as Crushanda Forbes was voted off the stage by the rest of SA. Even with over 1.4million votes being cast, it was a close match.
So now there are two. And we are closer to discovering who will be SA next Idol! On Sunday, Dave van Vuuren and Mark Haze will battle it out in an epic final, and Tuesday we will know who walks away with R500,000 and a new car.
It's not the end of the road for Crushanda though - "I have gigs lined up," she said. "After that, I will try to get a recording deal and take it from there, (and continue to) use the platform that Idols has given me."

It won't be like it was with Princess Diana...
Prince William seems to going about this all the right way - recently he has asked sister-in-law Pippa Middleton to move into Kensington Palace with Kate to keep her company while Will is away.
Will, who is working as a search and rescue pilot is worried Kate will be lonely while he is on duty, and as a source put: The source added: "The last thing William and the Palace want is a repeat of the Princess Diana early years, when she felt cut off, lost, isolated and lonely."
The sisters are reported to be excited about move, "Pippa and Kate can't wait to move in together. Pippa recently spent time with Kate in Wales, which Kate loved, and William is relieved because Pippa will be able to keep an eye on her sister and make sure she takes care of herself!" a source told Life & Style magazine.

Robert Pattinson recording debut album *swoon*
So the latest on Edward ...erm, Robert Pattinson, is that he's currently working on recording his first album! Apparently he was always keen on the idea of becoming a musician, one source said: "Music is his first love! He's tortured because he avoids it. When he's sitting around jamming in the studio, it's his favourite moment of life."
For the die hard fans, you will know that the 25-year-old actor actually recorded "Never Think" and "Let Me Sign" for the original Twilight soundtrack. A taster of what is too come.
The friend added: "The album Rob will make will be guitar based and drums, very organic-sounding, nothing pop. Like stripped-down Ray LaMontagne meets Van Morrison." An accomplished pianist and guitarist, we wait with baited-breath to see what Rob comes up with!

Hugh Jackman: haters gonna hate
Can it be possible for Hugh Jackman to be loathed? Legendary film maker Steven Spielberg says yes. Now, now, before you get your knickers in an angry twist, Jackman is only not the most likeable guy in his next film, Real Steel. You can wipe that sweat off your brow.
Speaking to E-Entertainment Spielberg said: “He risks not being like for a while in this movie. He risks unlikeability for the first act and a half of this movie.” Jackman plays Charlie, a dad who has no interest in his 11-year-old son who now lives with him after his mother passes away. The flick is set in the future, where Charlie builds and coaches fighting robots.
Spielberg had nothing but praise for the Australian actor: “Hugh’s a great actor. He’s a great entertainer. He could do anything. He could do Broadway. He could do musical theater. He could do movies—and probably a few other mediums we haven’t invented yet.” So much so, you will want to slap him when he plays Charlie.

Should Gareth Cliff resign?
It seems some people think 5FM morning show DJ Gareth Cliff should resign. The out spoken radio and TV personality interviewed AIDS activist Angela Larkan last week, saying she should be proud of herself to have started her work at the young age of 22, since most women that age "do nothing but lie on their backs with their legs open".
That statement prompted DA Durban councillor Tex Collins to report Cliff to the Broadcasting Complaints Commission of South Africa and called for an apology to women. "When I heard that, I thought ... it goes directly to the heart of every single woman in this country. It shows a very low regard for every woman in this country." Collins added: "Darren Scott resigned when he used the k-word, and that went to the heart of every black person. With Gareth, what does [his comment] tell you as a young man [about women]?"
On his website, Cliff has said: "This whole story is preposterous. It is spurious and seems a deliberate attempt by a minor politician and newspapers to make a mountain out of a molehill. I refute the allegation and consider it insulting in turn to be called sexist."
In response to an online petition calling for his removal, he tweeted: "There's some silly petition going round about me. Please sign it, I'll consider it an admission of humourlessness and know who to avoid."

Eddie Murphy could host the Oscars next year
We remember lack-luster Oscar hosts Anne Hathaway and James France from earlier this year for all the wrong reasons - like turning the best night for movies into the most bizarre spectacle ever. It seems the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences do not want to make the same mistake again and they've come out guns blazing, so to speak.
Deadline has reported that funnyman Eddy Murphy, of Beverly Hills Cop and The Nutty Professor fame, is a top contender to host the next ceremony. Murphy also voices the beloved character of Donkey from the Shrek movie series. Oscar producer Brett Ratner is set to meet the comedian on Tuesday. We do so hope the ceremony is more entertaining than this year's snooze fest. The Oscars will take place on 26 February 2012.

A millionaire at 20? Sabirul Islam chats to SA teens
British born Sabirul Islam may only be 20 years old, but he's a millionaire, author and motivational speaker.
Sabirul spoke at the SA Teen Entrepreneur Foundation launch yesterday urging SA's teens to work hard for success.
How did he get where he is today? At juts 14 years old, he started a web design business and not stopping there, at 17 he published his first book called The World at Your Feet. Nothing came easy for the young entrepreneur, so after 40 publishers rejected it he went ahead designing and marketing the book himself - he's sold over 42 000 copies to date.
Teen-Trepreneur, a business board game that he created when he was 18, is sold in 14 countries and was quickly followed by his second book, The World at Your Feet: Three Strikes to a Successful Entrepreneurial Life.
“Through my experiences as a young entrepreneur, I hope to inspire and provide a vision and opportunity for an ordinary individual to become an extraordinary entrepreneur. I do not only want to inspire young people, but to educate them about the world of entrepreneurship and taking risks - it requires hard work and dedication to turn a plan into a working business,” Islam said.

SABC: The cost of having Oprah on air
SABC has recently admitted to agreeing to buy lots of low quality TV shows as part of package deals ensure that the quality shows like The Oprah Winfrey Show could air. Now with Oprah's show over, they have a whole lota trashy TV shows they don't ever want to show.
Dr Ben Ngubane, SABC chairperson, told parliament's portfolio committee on communications that deals like this are described in the industry as "buying a dog with its fleas". "You can only get Oprah if you buy it with other shows that go with it from the studio. And more often than not the other lesser things are really of no value. Because you are after Oprah – because Oprah drives audiences, and it drives your revenues, you end up buying Oprah," said Ngubane. "You will not get the dog unless you also take it with its fleas. It's a package.".
"We are addressing that situation. That is why content enterprises at the SABC has been collapsed into the television division so that TV show buying is driven by the schedule.
"Acquisition of content is driven by need, so that TV channels must first say, 'We want A,B,C,D' and then you buy what you need. We are dealing with this situation to make sure that programming impairment is addressed," Ngubane said.

M-Net revives Idols in BUMPER episode!
If you watched last night's Idols show you would have been faced with flashy lighting effects, shoop-shoop dancers and Beyoncé-style moves, in MNets bumper episode of SA Idols.
Idols spokesman Ingrid Engelbrecht got SA excited last week as she hinted that last night's show was going to be a "Showstopper" episode as the contestants had been hard at it in dace lessons "for the past two-and-a-half weeks" in what was to be the first episode this season to feature full choreography.
According to the contestants though, they had only been preparing for a week. Kelly Fortuin decided not to dance at all after last week's attempt when she sang Michael Jackson's Rock With You, the "full-on dance thing" was just not for her.
Freddy Van'Dango who one of the bests nights vocally singing White Stripes' "Seven Nation Army" also said the dancing theme wasn't for him and his "two left feet".
If anything, the show was a breath of fresh air from MNet for the show - showing that even after 7 seasons, Idols is still going strong and willing to work harder too keep audiences on the edge of their seats.
