Wedding bells for Oprah - on TV?!

May thought the time would never come that Oprah Winfrey (58) and long-time boyfriend Stedman Graham (61)  finally got hitched - but it's happening now and Oprah is planning to televise the whole thing in order to boost the viewership of her TV channel, the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN).

A little sneaky, but it's sure to work! It also reminds me of another celebrity who took this route...Kardashian ring a bell?

OWN hasn't been doing well of late if rumors are true, one source saying: "Oprah's realised that the shows she's created are just not attracting interest – the fans want to see her. So she's devised a secret plan to save OWN by getting married to Stedman on live TV."

Fast and Furious 6: Welcome Rihanna!

News on the street is that Rihanna has decided to take acting a little more seriously after her first movie Battleship, and has landed a role in the sixth The Fast and the Furious film!

I supposed they needed something to get us back to their screens!

Co-staring with Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Vin Diesel, Rihanna will be dripping her good-girl act to be the villain in this sequel. A source told The Sun newspaper: "Rihanna impressed with her acting debut in Battleship. Writers think she will be perfect for the role. Her character has plenty of bite and doesn't take any prisoners - just like her in real life.

"It's a step up the ladder for her and could lead to bigger action roles."

Twilight's Edward with no hair??

Nope, but Robert Pattinson will have to don a  wig for the Twilight re-shoots due to his newly shaved head - eeew!

With some final filming coming up for the final Twilight movie, Rob will have to wear a wig as he plays his role as vampire Edward Cullen -  What is Edward without his  long, thick bronzed hair?

What still needs to be shot? The filmmaker said: "A film is a lot like a puzzle, with each piece - each shot, no matter how brief - needing to fit exactly with the ones around it. Our Part Two puzzle is finally coming into full view, and in a few weeks we'll be heading back north to pick up some additional shots - the last tiny missing pieces.

"I am really looking forward to being back on set with some of the friends I've made on my Twilight journey, like the great Guillermo Navarro, our cinematographer, and his crew. And yes, Rob and Kristen will be there too, to pop in those gold contacts one last time."

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 is still planned to be released in November.

Brangalina have made it official!

So, Brad's proposal made Angelina cry... wouldn't you after waiting so long for it to come?!

But then, in true romantic Hollywood style, he did take a year to design the perfect ring, and he proposed
with the whole family - Maddox, 10, Pax, eight, Zahara, seven, Shiloh, five, and three-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox- there.

There is a sneaky rumor going around that the couple have actually been engaged since Christmas but didn't want the even to over shadow Brads directorial debut film In the Land of Blood and Honey. Good move!

No date or location for the wedding have been revealed.

Britney Spear's fiancé to be co-conservator

You may be suprised the Britney is even getting married - she's been out of the lime-light a while now. But latest on the ground is that she's  letting fiancé  Jason Trawick apply to be her co-conservator.

This new title - which he has to apply for at court later this month - will see him have a say on her general well-being including where she lives and her medical care.

Britney'sdad, Jamie Spears, will stay as her co-conservator too, but due to the two of them not having much contact in the last two years.

"Britney's medical doctors think it's a good idea to see how Jason will do as her co-conservator as he is planning on marrying Britney. The two will probably get married later this year, and not anytime sooner" said a source.

So, apparently the investigation into Whitney Houston's death has finally come to a close - the final ruling being accidental drowning with no evidence to suggest otherwise.

"Based on the findings of our investigation and our review of the coroner's report, we have determined that this is not a criminal matter," the Beverly Hills police department said in a statement.

Whitney, always troubled with drug use, dies on February 11 - on the eve of the Grammy Awards, and just after she had finished working on the film Sparkle.

Top TV down, but not out

Top TV are going through a bit of a rocky patch - they've lost some channels (Current TV, One Music and Hi Nolly) and have pleaded shareholders to help them out but the show must go on!

Word on the street is that TopTV's previous CEO had no broadcasting experience which new interim CEo Eddie Mbalo is working on fixing up. "We need cash at the moment. We are not in a cash crisis, but moving forward we might have to go to our shareholders and ask for more money? said Mbalo.

"We are at the moment looking at our own business, we're looking at the weaknesses, and the opportunities that exist and that is our focus at this time.

"Content is what keeps people watching. People are excited to buy the decoder but once they tune in, if the content doesn't appeal and resonate with their emotions, then we have to re-look. We should become an alternative to what is available."
