Justin Bieber's in for questioning!

Apparently, Justin may be facing some assault charges as he allegedly had a "physical altercation" with a paparazzo who was trying to take pictures of the singer and his actress girlfriend Selena Gomez over the weekend...

News on the ground is that the 30-year-old photographer involved complained of chest pains and called the police AND paramedics to the scene after the alleged incident. While he did go to hospital, he was quickly released again.

Another photographer on the scene said the paparazzo provoked Justin into the scuffle by blocking his was into his car and verbally abusing him.  If Justin is even charged and convicted of criminal battery, he could face up to six months in jail!

This doesn’t sound like an incident that will get this far though - we hope!

Robert Pattinson: No more 'inspiration' for Twilight...

Robert Pattinson, (aka dark, mysterious Edward Cullen) has told the media that he is tired of the Twilight Saga movies. But don't worry, while he may have run out of steam, the final installment is due to be released in November this year so you will still be getting your final Twilight fix if you're a fan!

"Playing the same part for a while, you just run out of ideas. You feel kind of useless, you don't know what to do anymore....I kind of got to the end of my inspiration" he said.

He's had a good run since the first Twilight movie in 2008 - 5 movies later, he may have earned a bit of a break, but we will miss him...!

Jackie Chan takes a bow

Chinese Zodiac will officially be Jackie Chan's last and final action movie. At 58-years-old and many many years of being one of Hollywood's most iconic action stars we think he may deserve this!

Jackie says that age has finally caught up with him, and all the aches and pains that come with his action packed movies have taken their toll. "It hurts, it really hurts," he says, flinching. "The shoulder, the ankle, it really hurts. You don't know because I still look healthy."

BUT it's not then end of the road - while he may have landed his last punch he's still keen to move into the drama scene and show his worth as an actor - not only as an action star.

"When I look at Hollywood, at Robert De Niro, he can do anything - comedy, drama," he says. "Clint Eastwood - 60-70 years old, he can still move. I said yes, that's my goal. Because action stars' life is so short. Actor's life is very long. I want to show audiences I can act."

Madonna wants to be US president?

According to Channel 24 Madonna wishes she could be president of the US.... Yup. Really.

Why would she do a good job? "I wouldn't spend as much money for weapons of mass destruction, but instead for education and art." she said. Well, we can't argue with that!

At 53-years-old Madonna is losing none of her fire, are she's attributed this to never taking ''anything for granted''. 'It's harder to stay famous than become famous. I don't think there's a rule for that [staying successful]. You have to really love what you're doing.

"You have to feed your soul with ideas and you're not allowed to stop growing as a human. That's what helps to create art. "When it comes to my work I don't take anything for granted.''

Whitney Houston's mom releases new gospel songs

Attention all gospel lovers! This is the first time Cissy Houston has released new music since "He Leadeth Me" in 1997 and she coming back with a bang with "Walk on By Faith" which features four songs that can all already  be found on iTunes.

The track titles are: "The House", "Walk on By Faith", "It's In My Heart" and "Living Shall Not Be In Vain".

Harlem Records say she started working on the album last year, musically arranging all four tracks. Cissy's career began in 1938 so it's a pleasure to have someone like her giving us music again - especially after the devastating death of her daughter, Whitney, earlier this year.

SAMAs steal TV audiences!

The SAMAs (the biggest night of the year for our local music talent) were a star-studded, fab affair this year - but CEO, Randall Abrahams is taking all the cred for the  over half-a-million more people that watched the SAMAs on TV this year compared to last year!

It was his idea to move the ceremony to a Monday night rather than a Saturday night, and this apparently made all the difference with more people being in front of their TV's on a Monday night.

the Advertising Research Foundation recorded around 670000 more viewers this year, than last year for the event.

At least there were less hitches this year than last year - this is besides that vote-rigging allegations that are flying around. Apparently Universal Music record executives have accused Samas officials of rigging the votes between dance trio Mi Casa coming and DJ Choice but nothing has come to light on this.
