Into Splits-ville

After months of are-they-or-aren't-they-together rumours, it has finally been confirmed that Tiger Woods' marriage is over.

Wood's now ex wife, Elin Nordegren must be breathing sighs of relief as she does not have to worry about him cheating with every fancy female who batters their eye lashes at him.

Remaining civil, the duo released a statement after the divorce hearing: "We are sad that our marriage is over and we wish each other the very best for the future."

We wish Elin well, Tiger...not so much.

Sinking their teeth into marriage

Don't we just love it when a smoking hot on screen romance turns into the real thing! And that is precisely what happened with True Blood's human and vampire couple Sookie Stackhouse and Bill Compton.

Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer, in real life, quietly tied the knot in Malibu, USA on 21 August. They were surrounded by their close friends and family. Guests included Elijah wood and the couple's True Blood co-star Carrie Preston.

The ceremony took place in a tent on the beach. We wish them only happiness! No word yet on when or if their on screen characters will swap vows too.

Blue is the new black, brunette and auburn

It seems blue heads seem to have more fun than blonds now, what with the trend taking Hollywood by storm.

Juliette Lewis is the latest star to debut her new blue locks at The Switch premier in LA. Before that everyone from crazy gal pal Lilly Allen to rocker Adam Lambert sported this edgy new style. Katy Perry even went blue (even if it was just a wig) after she voiced the character Smurfette in The Smurfs movie.

Well, at least we can all be grateful they are not the sort of blue that needs to be treated with Prozac. Hollywood, you gotta love that place. 

Britney's ball of a time on Glee

It is official - Britney Spears has tweeted her arrival on the set of Glee, the hit musical television series.

Seemingly super excited, more so than us, she announced on Twitter: " About to do my first shot of the day for Glee tweeties! Here we gooo!"

A mere two hours later she uploaded a photo herself and her assistant with a message that said: "What's up Gleeks? Having so much fun on set! Can't wait for you guys to see the episode! - Britney". Yeah, that gal is enjoying herself!

Brit-Brit will make her cameo in season two of Glee on the second episode called "Britney/Brittany" in which at least six of her songs are featured.

Couple Split

It would seem that the unlikely couple- that is, Evan Rachel Wood and 41 year old singer Marilyn Manson have split!

The couples 'on off' relationship has been much publisized and many people have expressed their discomfort with the pairing of these extremely opposites people!

After reuniting in 2007, Manson proposed to Evan 7 months ago in Paris and it really seemed like they were gonna go through with it. Alas reports surfaced today announcing the couples seperation.

We wish them both the best for their future!

ANC media restrictions

It's quite a scary thing this new attempt to muzzle the media...

The ANC and its youth league want to restrict media from reporting on certain things and ultimately want to get away with dodgy dealings, corruption and crime.

The spokesperson of the ANC has said that the media reports irresponsibly and inaccurately on matters pertaining to the ANC and its members and therefore want to restrict the media.

This is most concerning and even Journalist forums in American have spoken out against it, most recently sending a letter to President Jacob Zuma urging him to oppose this new infringement.

We hope for all our sakes this crazy notion is not taken any further!

Hilary Duff weds

It would seem that little Hilary Duff is all grown up and married!

That’s right, the singing sensation tied the knot this past weekend with long-term boyfriend, Mike Comrie- a Pro Hockey player.

The ceremony was anything but ordinary- taking place in Santa Barbara California. Duff insisted on having a small, intimate wedding with as few guests as possible. By Hollywood standards, we would say that is pretty out of the norm!

We wish the newlyweds love, happiness and a long life together!
