It's a tough business is show business. So tough in fact, that 52-year-old Simon Cowell has become obsessed with staying young.
The latest in a string of beauty treatments to grab his fancy is a sheep placenta facial.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Simon is forever trawling the health and beauty market, looking for all the latest fads. He's tried vitamin injections, drips, detoxes, smoothies, Botox and massages, but after reading rave reviews about placenta facials, decided he had to give them a go."
Apparently the middle-aged music mogul reckons they take years off his complexion, giving him back the "shine and joie de vivre that long hours and smoking take away".
Hey Simon, you could always try grabbing an early night or kicking the habit. And leave the sheep be. Just saying.
