Roxette take SA by storm!

Roxette, now 23 years old as a band, are as good now as they were then... And the hundreds of South Africans that travelled from as far as KZN and Eastern Cape to Jozi and CT to watch the rocking Swedish duo, Per Gessle and Marie Frediksson, on their latest world tour will tell you all about it!

Things haven't been easy for the band, and Marie most of all who showed the country that she has (still) "got the look" even after a bitter fight against brain cancer. In an interview, Roxette vocalist and guitarist Per Gessle said Fredriksson was being carefully monitored.

"Marie was so sick in 2002; the odds of her surviving at the time were 5%. "So this entire tour is basically planned around her. We make sure that we don't travel on days we have concerts," he said.

They have one more show tonight at the Sun City Superbowl, with every show sold out so far, see if you can squeeze in - it's truly once in a lifetime!
