For the past month it seems that all of SA's celebs are going TV reality crazy with all their own shows and movies - our home grown, Freshly Ground muzo's are no different!Being really one of our best know multi-cultural bands - even sharing the stage with Shakira last year - they really are an awesome band to represent SA. If you don't know much about them, this you'll be glad to hear that a three-part TV series on them will start showing in March. The show follows the band from when they first set out as an unknown group, to the globe travelling band we know today.
Not your ordinary band, the team of Freshlyground have revealed that it's not only passion for the music that they make that keeps them together and going, but a passion about the future and well being of South Africa too. Practising what they preach they are often found in townships promoting promote awareness about Aids with their Tutu Tester Aids initiative and other ventures.
