Naomi Campbell says no to "drink and drugs"

Supermodel Naomi Campbell was the first black cover model for French Vogue Paris and Time magazine (Europe), and the second for British Vogue magazine - she had a quick rise to fame, and with it the British beauty was face with the allure of drugs and alcohol.

Naomi says she first experimented with cocaine when she was in her 20s, when she first came into the fashion industry, but quickly explains that it had a negative impact on her life.
"It rips your world apart. I never thought I was an alcoholic but it goes hand-in-hand with the drugs."

She said she used the dink and drugs to numb the pain of day to day life, "...I've got tons of stuff. Same as everybody else. I didn't like the way I was." But in the end, she says that they were "an allergy" to her, didn't make her happier or a better person.

She said: "Recovery is a positive thing. There's nothing to be ashamed of. When you know you need help, and seek help, you need that time to deal with it."
