Those set to benefit from the gifts are charities across the commonwealth including earthquake stricken Christchurch in New Zealand, the Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary and Australia's Royal Flying Doctor Service. Others are in and around Britain - some reflecting the prince's military background with donations to help service personnel and their families, such as the Army Widows' Association.
And don't worry SA - even though we won't be getting a public holiday, we won't be missing out on the fun completely! Hotels, social clubs, schools, charity organisations and the British High Commission will be throwing parties and showing the wedding on giant screens!
