Kate set to 'out-do' Diana in the news

According to the Global Language Monitor (Payack), royal bride-to-be Kate Middleton is taking up as much media space as William's mum - Princess Diana - use too, and is fast becoming the most talked-about woman in the world's media.

It's only two weeks to go till the big day and Kate is already climbing the celeb ladder in the media world. "Kate Middleton is set to eclipse Princess Di as the media star of the royal family," said Paul JJ Payack, president of Texas-based Global Language Monitor.

Having said this, Payack said noted that there was no Google, social media, OR smartphones in existence at the time of Princess Di and the global icon was still cited in hundred of thousands of news stories. "The study demonstrates the enduring legacy of Princess Di some fourteen years after her death," he said.
