Well, the actress has opted for a full-scale trial on the jewellery theft charge rather than accepting a deal from prosecutors to plead guilty, which would have put her behind bars for several months...Lohan, 24, who has been in and out of rehab and jail for the past three years for drug and alcohol addiction, has said she would not accept the plea bargain because is is innocent and didn't steal the $2,500 gold necklace.
Her attorney, Shawn Holley's statement said that she rejected a judge's offer because she is "innocent" and "has a strong defence". Now we wait and see what the Jury decide! Good luck Lindsay!
