Shame, we frequently feel sorry for this Hollywood starlet as she just can't seem to get onto the straight and narrow. It's been drug and alcohol and now she has added theft charges to her list...January found Lindsay doing a court-ordered stint in rehab for her drug addiction, this couldn't have gone too well though as, as soon as she got out she apparently walked out of a jewellery shop - found on the beachfront of LA - with a $2 500 gold necklace that she hadn't paid for...
She is also still actually on probation for a 2007 drunk driving offence which means that IF she is convicted for this grand theft charge, she's looking at up to 3 years in jail. Lindsay pleaded not guilty in a first appearance on February 9 but her lawyers are fighting to keep her out of jail. She was given another chance on yesterday to accept a plea bargain and has until March 25 to agree with it.
